Membership for the Committee of 100 is by invitation only and at the approval of the Board of Directors.

Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Redstone Federal Credit Union


Terri Bentley serves as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Redstone Federal Credit Union, one of the nation’s largest credit unions. In this role, she provides executive leadership for the Alabama Retail Market, Lending and Business Retail, Data Science, Software Engineering, and Technology divisions, guiding strategic initiatives that support growth, operational excellence, innovation, and outstanding member experiences.


With extensive experience across consumer and commercial banking, Terri has been with Redstone for over 37 years and oversees critical operational, lending, retail, and technology functions to help ensure the Credit Union remains efficient, financially strong, compliant, and member focused. Before being named Chief Operating Officer, she served for more than eight years as Redstone’s Chief Information Officer, leading enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity, digital transformation, technology operations, software engineering, project management, and the startup of a data science and analytics team in 2019.  Her combined expertise in operations and technology has played a key role in advancing Redstone’s strategic goals and long-term success.


Throughout her career, Terri has been a strong advocate for innovation, continuous improvement, and leadership development. She is known for aligning people, processes, and technology to deliver sustainable results while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.


Beyond her executive responsibilities, Terri is an active leader in the Huntsville business and nonprofit communities. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Huntsville Committee of 100, where she is also a member of the Creative Cities Committee and mentors emerging professionals through the organization’s Young Professionals program. She also serves on the boards of United Way of Madison County, where she served as Board Chair in 2025, and the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, where she is a member of the Finance Committee.


Terri also serves as President of Redstone Alliance Group, LLC, the holding company of Redstone Federal Credit Union, and previously served as President of Redstone Consulting Group, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Redstone Federal Credit Union. She also served as President of the Alabama Technology Management Association, helping promote technology leadership and innovation across the state.


Her professional affiliations include service on the CO-OP Strategic Co-Creation Council, Cyber Huntsville Advisory Council, and Fiserv Technology Advisory Council. She previously served on the NCR Strategic Advisory Board. Terri is also an active member of the Huntsville Downtown Rotary Club and mentors’ local high school students through Rotary’s STRIVE program.


Terri’s leadership has earned national and industry recognition, including being named a Woman to Watch in Technology by Credit Union Journal and receiving the Alabama ORBIE CIO of the Year Award in 2021. Under her leadership, Redstone’s Technology team received Gartner’s Cool Business Award for its innovative Electronic Lobby Manager application.


Known for her strategic vision, operational expertise, and commitment to servant leadership, Terri is passionate about developing future leaders and strengthening the communities she serves. Her leadership continues to make a lasting impact on Redstone Federal Credit Union, the financial services industry, and the North Alabama region.
