Our members are local CEOs, business professionals, and influential community leaders from Huntsville, Madison, Madison County, and Limestone County. Our members are invested and active in this community, and most are politically engaged as well. Membership for the Committee of 100 is by invitation only and at the approval of the Board of Directors.

Les Tillery
About
Les joined Fuqua & Partners Architects in 2003 and became a principal in the firm in 2010. He brings an intensity and rigor to the design process which leads to exceptional results. Important hallmarks of Les’ project leadership include understanding each client’s vision, interdisciplinary collaboration with the project team, and attention to detail. Having worked on projects both large and small, he brings a broad range of experience in planning, design, and construction efficiency including a specific interest and expertise in interior architecture and sustainable design.
Les is very active in the Huntsville community and active on numerous volunteer boards including the Alabama Center for Architecture, Huntsville Public Art Committee, Committee of 100, BizPac Board, Downtown Huntsville Inc. Board, and the Cummings Research Park Board. In addition to his active board positions, Les also serves as Chairman of the Huntsville Planning Commission. Prior to his position as Chairman, he served as Chairman of the Zoning Committee. Les has been a member of the Planning Commission since 2012 when he was appointed by Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle.
A Mississippi native, Les graduated from Mississippi State School of Architecture in 1997 and lives in downtown Huntsville with his wife, Becky, and they have 4 children, Joseph, Luke, Lucy and Bea.
In July 2025, Fuqua & Partners merged with McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture and Les is a Principal and the Huntsville Studio Leader.
