Brian Cook, President and CEO of Cook’s Pest Control, is the 4th generation leader of his family’s nearly 100-year-old business. As the 9th largest pest management company in the U.S., Cook’s employs more than 1,700 team members in five southern states.
Brian is president and board chairman of Cook Museum of Natural Science which opened in downtown Decatur, AL in 2019. This state-of-the-art educational institution and tourist destination received the USA Today Reader’s Choice Award for “Best New Museum in the U.S” and in 2025 was designated by The State of Alabama as the “North Alabama STEM Center.”
He is a founding board member of Not Forgotten, Inc., a non-profit serving in Iquitos, Peru, providing holistic, individualized care for vulnerable and orphaned boys in a healthy, stable family environment and championing foster care throughout Peru.
With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Samford University and a M.B.A. from The University of Alabama, Brian currently serves on the Decatur Downtown Redevelopment Authority board of directors and has previously served on the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce Executive Board. He is a graduate of Leadership Alabama’s Class 34.
